For nearly a century, mining, poorly maintained, are ravaged by an uncontrollable and devastating fire. Propagating from vein to vein, the flames eat away the basement, spring from the earth, envelop the region in thick toxic fumes. For the residents, it was coal that wealth has become a curse.
