Overview:

Nikolai Sergeevich, who has been in charge of the pediatrics department for many years, retires and enters the "wonderful world of pensioners". Unfortunately, Nikolai Sergeich has neither savings nor a family. His wife left him a year ago, but left him touching letters with memories and advice for the rest of his life.
